Create Digital Business Card
Learn how to create NFC-powered digital business cards that instantly share your contact information. Perfect for networking, conferences, and professional meetings.
What You'll Need
- iPhone 7 or later with iOS 14 or newer
- NFC Taggy Tools app installed from the App Store
- Blank NFC tag or NFC business card
- Your contact information ready
Step-by-Step Guide
Download and Open NFC Taggy Tools
If you haven't already, download NFC Taggy Tools from the App Store. Open the app on your iPhone.
NFC is always enabled on iPhone and doesn't require any settings changes.

Select Contact Card
From the home screen, tap on "Write Tag" and then select "Contact" from the data type options.

Enter Your Contact Information
Fill in your details: Name (First and Last), Phone Number, Email Address, Company Name, Job Title, Website URL, Address (optional), Social Media Links (optional). You can include as much or as little information as you want.
Include only the information you're comfortable sharing publicly. Remember, anyone who taps your NFC tag can see this data.

Write to NFC Tag
Tap the "Write to NFC Tag" button. Hold your phone near the blank NFC tag or NFC business card. Keep your phone steady until you see a success message (usually 1-2 seconds).
NFC business cards are specially designed cards with embedded NFC chips. They look professional and are perfect for networking events.

Test Your Digital Business Card
Use another device to tap your NFC business card. A notification will appear with your contact information. Tap "Add to Contacts" to save the information to your phone.

Share Your Card
Keep your NFC business card in your wallet or phone case. At networking events, simply ask people to tap their phone on your card. Your contact information will be instantly shared!
Practice the motion a few times so you can smoothly share your card during conversations.
Troubleshooting
Contact doesn't save to phone
On iPhone, make sure to tap "Add to Contacts" when the notification appears. Try tapping the tag again and look for the "Add to Contacts" button in the notification.
Some information is missing
Check that you filled in all the fields correctly when creating the vCard. Some fields may have character limits. Try simplifying long entries or removing optional fields.
Phone doesn't detect the tag
Make sure NFC is enabled. Remove any thick phone cases. Try holding your phone in different positions over the tag. NFC business cards usually have a marked area showing where to tap.
Photo doesn't appear
The image file may be too large for the NFC tag. Try using a smaller image (under 50KB) or remove the photo entirely. NTAG216 tags have more storage and can accommodate larger images.
Tips & Best Practices

Consider creating different cards for different contexts (personal vs. professional)
Add a QR code backup on the card in case someone's phone doesn't have NFC

Password-protect your tag to prevent others from changing your information
